Hello there!
I’m Haley Wright.

I’m a ballerina-turned-multidisciplinary-designer who doesn’t fit in any one box. I’m passionate about fusing my several skills—including branding, motion, print, and digital design—to devise creative solutions to complex problems.

Meaningful Beauty: The Vibrant Vocabulary of Honeysuckles

A National Science Foundation funded interactive art-science exhibit, displayed at The College of New Jersey Art Gallery in February 2022 and Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum in May 2022

I worked on this project from conception to completion, as part of an interdisciplinary team of Interactive Multimedia and Biology students and professors from TCNJ, St. John’s University, Yale University, and more. My roles included research, exhibit conceptualization and planning, project management, graphic design, digital fabrication, and social media content creation & management. The goal of the exhibition from the design perspective was to utilize different forms of media—including augmented reality, animated projections, laser-cut acrylics, printed data visualizations, and interactive screen-based displays—to connect visitors to plants in an educational yet playful way.

Our overall goal: Raise plant awareness and appreciation by highlighting the innovative ways in which honeysuckles have evolved to better communicate with their environment.
